Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers to common questions about how this work actually works.
What actually happens in a session?
Each session focuses on how a pattern is running in real time.
Rather than analysing your story, we look at how your thoughts, emotional responses, and nervous system interact moment to moment. Once the pattern is clear, we interrupt it safely and help your system learn a new response.
Sessions are practical, structured, and collaborative.
What is hypnosis and what does it feel like?
Clinical hypnosis is a natural state of focused attention, similar to becoming absorbed in a conversation or a task.
You remain aware, present, and in control the entire time.
Hypnosis is used here as a tool to support pattern interruption and learning new responses, not to override your will.
Do I need to talk about my past or trauma?
Not unless it is directly relevant to the pattern we are working with.
This approach does not require reliving or retelling your story.
We focus on what is happening now and how it can be changed.
How many sessions do people usually need?
This varies depending on the pattern and how long it has been running.
Most people notice meaningful change within 4–6 sessions, particularly when they are actively applying the work between sessions.
For that reason, some people choose to work in a short structured block of sessions, while others prefer to take things session by session.
We review progress regularly rather than locking you into a fixed outcome.
How do I know if this is the right fit?
The first step is a clarity chat.
This is a conversation to understand what you are dealing with and whether this way of working is appropriate.
No pressure.
No obligation.
Just clarity.
What is Strategic Psychotherapy?
Strategic psychotherapy focuses on how problems operate, not why they began.
Instead of analysing your story or past endlessly, we identify the specific processes that keep a pattern repeating and work directly with them.
Once the process is understood, it can be changed.
What is Human Design?
Human Design is a practical self awareness system that maps how your energy, decisions, and patterns naturally work.
Think of it like a personal operating manual.
It shows:
• how you make decisions best
• where you burn out or overextend
• where you absorb other people’s stress
• how to work with your strengths instead of against yourself
I use it as a guide to help you understand your patterns faster.
It is not something you have to “believe in”. It’s simply a tool that helps us target change more precisely.
Will I be in control the whole time?
Yes. Always.
Nothing is done without your consent, and you can speak, pause, or stop at any point.
This work requires your participation. It does not happen to you.
Is this a quick fix?
No.
This is not a “snap your fingers and everything is fixed” approach.
Real change requires repetition, practice, and willingness to respond differently.
That is also why the results last.
What if I’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t work?
Many people come to this work after therapy that focused on insight rather than change.
Understanding a problem does not always stop it.
This approach works at the level where patterns actually run.
Do I need to understand or believe in Human Design?
No.
Change does not depend on belief.
Most of our work is practical and pattern based using Strategic Psychotherapy and Clinical Hypnosis.
Human Design simply helps us identify where your stress or behaviour patterns show up more quickly.
If it resonates, great.
If not, we still focus on real time change and results.
You stay in control the whole time.

No.
Human Design is used as a practical tool, not a belief system.
It is optional and always secondary to the core work.
You do not need prior knowledge or interest in it.
